Job Description/Responsibilities:

Responsibilities: Each full-time Forest Ridge High School faculty member teaches 4 classes in a 7 block/7 day rotating schedule. Each class period is 75 minutes long. In addition to teaching responsibilities, each faculty member assumes the responsibility for one extracurricular activity and a reasonable list of given responsibilities done by all to ensure the engagement in the school community of each faculty member. Forest Ridge is a community of lifelong learners and all faculty are urged to model an openness and curiosity that are the hallmarks of lifelong learning.
 
 
Minimum Degree: BA
Certification Required: Yes
Minimum Experience: 1-3 Years

 
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a solid working knowledge of Art History and, ideally, experience in teaching both ceramics and graphic design to adolescents. Forest Ridge offers a full slate of visual arts offerings, so the school will accept applications from those with substantive ceramics, who are well versed in the teaching of other visual art courses. A BA in a relevant subject area is required, and an MA is preferred.
