Job Description/Responsibilities:
Ursuline Academy, an independent Catholic school in Wilmington, DE, is seeking an experienced and passionate full-time AP Physics Teacher to join our team. At Ursuline Academy, we are a community that empowers students for leadership and service in our global society. Anticipated courses for this role include Physics, AP Physics, as well as the potential opportunity for interdisciplinary studies in STEM.
Minimum Degree: Ed. M
Certification Required: Yes
Minimum Experience: 3-5 Years

• Master’s Degree in Physics and/or Secondary Science Education field, certification preferred
• Has at least 4 years’ experience teaching (AP) Physics, the ability to teach electives or Math classes a plus
• Learning Management System (LMS) experience with Google Classroom, Schoology, Net Classroom, or Blackboard, helpful
• A passion for innovation, collaboration, and participation in a college-prep learning community
• Interest in cultivating a global perspective in cross-curricular experiences
• A passion for developing and empowering young women to be future leaders
