Roots to Routes: A Call Forward
1/26/2026 to 1/28/2026, Full Day
Roots to Routes: A Call Forward is a national gathering of nearly 400 educators and 250 students and more than 100 schools from across the country — including high school students who join as partners in shaping the future of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in education. Founded and directed by Dr. Rodney Glasgow of The Glasgow Group, the conference offers three dynamic days of learning, reflection, and renewal for those doing the deep work of building inclusive communities.
Roots to Routes features over 35 interactive workshops, three inspiring keynotes, and an immersive environment that nurtures both personal growth and institutional transformation. Keynote speakers include A’Lelia Bundles, author and great-great-granddaughter of the legendary entrepreneur Madam C.J. Walker.

Through general sessions, intergenerational dialogue, and wellness spaces offering executive coaching, movement, and mindfulness, participants explore how we lead, teach, and live in alignment with our core values. Conversations center on identity, belonging, restorative leadership, and the routes forward for schools and communities in a rapidly changing world.

More than a conference, Roots to Routes is a call to reconnect with purpose — to move from reflection to action, and from division to community.
