Conference Overview
Our 2nd Annual B.A.M. Virtual Conference has been expanded this year to not only include people of color in Independent Schools, but those who work in any other environment where they are marginalized. This conference offers an opportunity to be in community and provides a safe space for us to learn, grow, and exist. The theme this year is: When "The Well" has run dry… The emphasis will be on finding and creating spaces of belonging, affirmation, and motivation when it may not exist the way that we want it to in your workspace. In other words, how can we provide what we need for ourselves and others instead of waiting for someone else to give it to us? Our virtual conference will include: workshops, smaller group time, music, and more. All of our work is rooted in resilience, inspiration and joy to help ourselves and others rise to higher heights! Our goal is to ensure every attendee leaves rejuvenated and encouraged. This general conference will be two days and have an optional full-day pre-conference institute.
