Position Description

The Director of Enrollment Management provides leadership for all aspects of enrollment, including attracting, enrolling, and retaining students and families. A member of the senior administrative team, the Director of Enrollment Management works closely with the Head of School to create and implement a comprehensive enrollment strategy.



The Director of Enrollment Management will:

Support the mission of the school.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Serve as a member of the senior administrative team.
Tour and interview prospective families.
Complete written documentation regarding each prospective family.
Share with Head of School monthly statistical reports that reflect an understanding of admission, marketing and strategy, and report to Board of Trustees as directed by the Head of School; assesses feedback of applicant families on a regular basis.
Collaborate with constituencies to design an inclusive admission process and create assessment tools.
Lead Admission Committee meetings.
Plan and implement internal and external marketing strategies for the school in partnership with the Advancement Office. Develop systems to chart the effectiveness of strategies.
Promote positive relationships with outside institutions or groups with the aim of attracting mission-appropriate students and understanding the CHS position in the marketplace.
Represent CHS at various recruiting events, fairs, and open houses.
Oversee all admission marketing outreach with the Advancement Office.
Collaborate and develop policies with appropriate stakeholders regarding enrollment trends and goals, including attrition and retention.
Coordinate enrollment and re-enrollment processes.
Create systems to chart all admission and attrition and communicate with other school personnel as needed.
Build and maintain a calendar of events for the year and oversee registration and preparation for admissions events.
Meet with family volunteers to oversee events.
Interface with all faculty, staff, administrators, trustees, and family volunteers regarding the admission office and other school-wide activities.
Manage departmental budget.
Oversee all admission communication.
Oversee admission staff


 
 
Minimum Degree: BA
Certification Required: No
Minimum Experience: 5-7 Years

 
Qualifications:
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years independent school experience required

Demonstrated strategic planning and project management skills

Excellent organizational skills

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues

Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
