Columbia College Chicago is an undergraduate and graduate college in downtown Chicago whose principal commitment is to provide comprehensive educational opportunities in the arts, communications and public information, within a context of enlightened liberal education. Columbia is the fifth largest private educational institution in Illinois, with a Fall 2004 enrollment of more than 10,000 students, which includes approximately 640 graduate students. It is the country's largest and most diverse private arts and communications college.
