Community Service
Community service is an integral part of a Charlotte Country Day education and plays an important role in shaping the character of our students. Children at every level, from JK to grade 12, give back to the community in hundreds of ways big and small. From collecting books for underprivileged children, to pet therapy with senior citizens, to annually hosting the Special Olympics spring games, our students fully understand that privilege and service go hand in hand.
International Studies
Charlotte Country Day offers an exceptionally broad-based international studies curriculum that is integrated across disciplines and grade levels. Since 1992 more than 700 students and teachers have participated in study abroad programs, and over 450 CCDS families have hosted a foreign student in their home.
