Northfield Mount Hermon is an independent, coeducational college preparatory school in western Massachusetts with 650 boarding and day students in grades 9 through 12, with a postgraduate year.
We seek faculty applicants who are able to contribute to all aspects of the school community: classroom teaching, student advising, coaching, and residential supervision.
Northfield Mount Hermon is dedicated to excellence in teaching and holds high academic standards for its faculty. Of the approximately 100 teaching faculty members, 65 percent hold advanced degrees; their average teaching experience is 24 years. Applicants should be able to contribute to all aspects of the school community, as reflected by the normal faculty workload that includes a combination of classroom teaching, student advising, coaching, and dormitory supervision.
