Palmer Trinity School is a co-educational college-preparatory day school for 600 students in grades 6-12. The school's program fosters global awareness, ecological sustainability, and cultural diversity in an ecumenical Episcopal atmosphere. The 55-acre subtropical campus is located thirty minutes south of Miami and four blocks from Biscayne Bay. The school stresses spiritual development, and strong programs in music, the arts, and athletics complement the ambitous academic program, including AP courses in 20 fields and significant opportunities for independent study.
The PTS faculty numbers 75 full-time teachers, the majority of whom hold advanced degrees, including 12 Ph.D.s. Salaries are competitive in the area, and the comprehensive benefits program includes health, vision, and dental plans, free breakfast and lunch daily, free use of a fully networked tablet PC, frequent international travel opportunties, and a generous fund to support professional development and graduate study. The highly international student body includes students from three dozen countries, and all the major faiths; over half of our students are bilingual at home, and all of them attend four-year colleges and universities following their days with us.
