As the innovator of a global curriculum for future leaders, AIS offers a program of academic excellence to American and international students, beginning with three-year-old and culminating in grade 12 with the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma.

50% students are American and 50% are International

CURRICULUM:
International Baccalaureate (IB) followed from four-year-old Kindergarten through grade 12 from Primary Years Programme (PYP) through Middle Years Programme (MYP) to Diploma Programme (DP)

LANGUAGE ACQUISITION:
Dual-language Primary School curriculum: English-French, English-German, English-Spanish. Language instruction is offered at beginner through native speaker levels in Secondary School.

SCHOOL COMMUNITY:
Faculty, parents and students at Atlanta International School represent more than 96 countries and speak more than 50 languages.

YEAR FOUNDED:1984 (The school opened in 1985 in facilities rented from a local church and moved to its current location in 1995.)
