ABOUT NIGHTINGALE
Founded in 1920, the Nightingale-Bamford School is an independent K–12 girls’ school in New York City that provides a classical, liberal arts curriculum to students of varied backgrounds, interests, and talents. Through the arts and athletics, ample leadership opportunities, extracurricular activities, and community service, students are encouraged to go beyond barriers. Central to Nightingale’s mission is a vision of students as joyful learners who have the intellectual depth and the courage to be critical thinkers, compassionate citizens, and agents of their own lives.
