The Fayetteville Academy is an independent, college preparatory school that encourages students to achieve their full potential by offering exceptional opportunities in academics, fine arts, and athletics. The Academy emphasizes scholarship, honor, leadership and citizenship.
THE SCHOOL
The Fayetteville Academy is a co-educational, independent, college preparatory day school offering exceptional educational opportunities to students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The Academy was established in 1970 in the spirit of the original Fayetteville Academy, which was founded in 1791 to promote the best in academic, cultural, patriotic, and social ideals. The city of Fayetteville is located 63 miles south of Raleigh and is North Carolina’s sixth-largest municipality. It is home to Fort Bragg, the nation’s largest Army installation, and Pope Air Force Base, and has been recognized as one of America’s most patriotic cities.
