The Public Schools Personnel Cooperative, founded in 1978, is a cooperative of 11 school districts and 1 Educational Service District and Head Start/ECEAP program in the south Puget Sound area of Washington State. Member districts are: Centralia, Chehalis, Griffin, Napavine, Oakville, Olympia, Onalaska, Tenino, Toledo, Tumwater and Yelm School Districts. The Cooperative is funded by member districts and guided by an advisory committee made up of representatives from each of the member districts. One application covers openings in all 12 districts. The Cooperative provides a pool of applicants for member districts to screen when openings occur. Screening, interviewing and hiring are performed by the member districts. The Cooperative provides an online application process for applicants and online screening capability for member districts.
