About Wayland Acdemy
Founded in 1855, Wayland Academy is an independent, coeducational, college-preparatory, boarding and day school for students in grades 9-12. Wayland's campus is situated in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, a city of nearly 16,000 located just 40 miles northeast of Madison and 60 miles northwest of Milwaukee.
The Academy's student body of 190 students, from 11 states and 32 countries. Our students also come from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. In a typical year, 100% of the graduating class enrolls at a four-year college or university.
Wayland is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States. Wayland also holds memberships in the National Association of Independent Schools and the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
