Founded in 1902, Brunswick School is an independent day school serving boys in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. Located in Greenwich, Connecticut, the school is divided into preschool, lower, middle and upper divisions, located on four separate campuses. While clearly committed to the education of boys, it shares a dynamic and enriching coordinate Upper School program at a neighboring girls’ school, Greenwich Academy. Through a rich and rigorous college preparatory curriculum, the School offers challenging academics, diversely appealing artistic pursuits and highly competitive athletics. At the same time, the School accepts that its overriding objective is to foster the development of strong character. Great emphasis is placed on the development of the "whole boy" and in the words of its founder, George Carmichael, Brunswick School is committed to "…ably and generously preparing boys for life."
