Founded in 1917, the Urban League ofEastern Massachusetts (ULEM) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization which is one ofthe oldest affiliates within the National Urban League movement. From the timethat our doors opened to the at-large Boston community and surroundingmetropolitan area residents, ULEM has been employing a multi-point strategy todeliver services and programs which aim to increase self-reliance, specificallyin the area of workforce development.
