ABOUT APSAmerican Paradigm Schools was formed on July 1, 2011 with the belief that ALL students are capable of learning, given the right tools, environment, family and community support, and motivation. In 2014, American Paradigm Schools applied was awarded a major grant from the Philadelphia Schools Partnership for our work in expanding seats and student achievement at First Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School. APS continues to manage four schools in the Philadelphia area focusing on increasing student achievement, leadership excellence, family and community partnerships, and paving the way for student success in college and career. Our schools currently include: General David B. Birney Charter School, First Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School, Memphis Street Academy Charter School and Tacony Academy Charter School. American Paradigm Schools Inc. is a member of the Philadelphia Charters for Excellence, and its leadership serves on several regional boards and committees for educational excellence. We are also the exclusive Charter School Partner for Temple University's Teacher Program.
