The Ethel Walker School, founded in 1911, is an independent, college-preparatory boarding and day school for girls in grades 6 through 12. This diverse community of learners and friends strives to live according to the values of honor and excellence. Each young woman finds her unique voice and learns to contribute it to the pursuit of these values.
At The Ethel Walker School we are a community that believes in strategically supporting and enhancing diverse perspectives and backgrounds. We are a community that values difference. We recognize that our success as educators depends upon our ability to prepare students for the world that awaits them - a world that includes variety in economic status, ethnicity, gender, racial heritage, physical abilities, political beliefs, religious conviction, sexual orientation, and social class.
