The Elisabeth Morrow School was founded in 1930 by Smith College classmates Elisabeth Morrow and and Connie Chilton. Almost 90 years later, our school, on the site of the former Morrow family estate, occupies a beautiful 14-acre setting, which includes nature trails, a brook, and many forms of wildlife. We educate 430 students from over 50 different towns in Bergen, Hudson, and Union counties in New Jersey, Rockland county, and the boroughs of New York City. Our students speak over 20 home languages, mirroring the demography of the areas in which our school is located.
