TECHNOLOGY: Walden strives to integrate the most up-to-date technology in order to provide the teaching tools necessary to enhance the curriculum and improve communication within the school community. Our campus currently utilizes 1 Smart Board, 48 desktop computers, 10 laptop computers, 14 projector systems, 11 Elmo document cameras, 1 virtual server, 1 router, 6 wireless access points, and a website featuring a password-protected parent portal and classroom web pages.
TEST SCORES: Standardized Testing: The CTP-IV testing from the Educational Records Bureau, is administered to 3rd through 6th graders. The CTP-IV testing is primarily a test normed with other independent schools across the country. The testing is completed each November and results are shared with families in February.
CAMPUS: 1.3 acre campus, 12 classrooms, music studio, art studio, technology lab, science lab, Toby Hayward Community Room, library, 3 playground yards (one is a dedicated Pre-Kindergarten playground), a sport court, and administrative offices.
