The Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca is a dynamic learning and growing community where
each student is cherished as our hope for the future. We educate our students to one day step into leadership
roles as stewards of the planet and all its beings. Our programs are designed to maximize each child's unique potential
and to foster cooperative and collaborative work and play. Our integrated school-wide curriculum touches every aspect
of life on earth and through it children come to know their place in the universe. We are an intentional anti-bias, anti-racist community.
EACMSI is broken up into 4 distinct levels, each corresponding to a specific stage in human development. The
characteristics of each stage determine the physical environment, adult/student relationship and the methods of curriculum
delivery. The growth that occurs in each level prepares the child for the level that follows. These are multi-year
experiences: Primary, Junior and Upper Level are 3 year cycles; Middle School is a 2 year loop.
