Summit Academy Charter School (SACS) is a tuition-free, college preparatory middle and high school for 6th – 12th-grade scholars in Brooklyn, New York.  We deliver the benefits of rigorous scholarship to one of Brooklyn’s most underserved communities.  SACS provides scholars in Brooklyn’s Community School District #15 with a public education that addresses their academic needs and delivers on the aspirations they and their families hold for them.  At Summit Academy our mission is simple: to prepare scholars to gain acceptance to, excel in and graduate from college.

At Summit Academy Charter School, we have designed the entire curriculum around the goal of getting students into college.  We keep academic standards high but class sizes small so our extraordinarily dedicated faculty can give each student the individual attention he or she needs.  That applies to every program at every grade and every level, including special needs.

Our full-time College-Prep Coordinator is here to help students navigate the application process for college admissions as well as for scholarships and financial aid. The Coordinator also leads free workshop sessions to help students with application strategies and essays. It’s not about what students bring to the school when they begin, it’s about what they take with them when they leave.
