St. Francis of Assisi School is proud to be Northeast Baltimore City's Catholic school. Conveniently located on Harford Road alongside Herring Run Park, St. Francis is just minutes away from workplaces such as Morgan State University and Johns Hopkins Hospital. The school is also a short walk or bike ride from many local residential neighborhoods. SFA is proud of its diverse community, with families from all backgrounds, including over 45 different countries of origin.
SFA is a parish school within the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and grades 6-8 feature the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program, a world-renowned program of academic excellence. The Pre-K program at St. Francis is recognized at Level Five, the highest rating available from Maryland EXCELS with the Maryland State Department of Education.
