Holy Comforter Episcopal School opened in the fall of 1955 and today, Holy Comforter Episcopal School serves 515 students from PK3 through 8. They enjoy a beautiful campus adorned by red bricks and white columns which create a distinct and serene atmosphere on almost 80-acres. HCES believes each child is a unique creation of God. Our mission is to nourish the spirit, challenge the mind, and strengthen the body in a Christian environment, encouraging each child to achieve his or her maximum potential as a contributing member of society. Our philosophy at Holy Comforter Episcopal School is that the education of the total child can best take place in an environment centered in, and supported by, the love of God in Jesus Christ. We endeavor to help our students discover their talents and abilities, while encouraging them to develop a personal relationship with God. Using our philosophy as a foundation, the School works as a unified body to provide quality education in a Christian atmosphere to students of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, races, and economic levels. We maintain accountability within the community we serve by encouraging interactions among administration, staff, students, parents, and our Holy Comforter family. Our vision at Holy Comforter Episcopal School is to continue its tradition of developing successful students, lifelong learners, and productive citizens with a recognition of God’s love for all people and a knowledge of His work in the world around them.
