Accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the International Baccalaureate Organization,ASB serves approximately 550 students from 50+ countries. Inquiry is at the core of the educational program. More than 95% of ASB graduates attend a four-year college or university.

The American School of Bombay (ASB) is a non-profit co-educational, independent, international day school from Pre-K to Grade 12. Located in the heart of Mumbai, India, we are a center of learning for students, educators, and thought leaders from around the world. ASB educators and staff recognize the value of having a diverse and inclusive school community and work to ensure that all members of the community are seen, heard, and valued. We nurture an inclusive community of students, teachers, staff and families, encouraging active service with our partners beyond the school community.

ASB's campuses are conveniently located in the central suburbs of Mumbai and are three kilometers apart. Both campuses are purpose-built spaces, to best meet the diverse needs of ASB students. Both facilities are designed around adaptable learning spaces, with dynamic walls, modular furniture, and common learning spaces. This allows teachers to configure learning spaces to personalize learning for our students. Science labs, studios for The Arts, including a black-box theater, iCommons spaces, and enclosed outdoor facilities to preserve air quality all provide an optimal learning environment.
