Employer Description

Fishtank Learning provides teachers with the curriculum resources they need to engage, challenge, and inspire their students. Through our easy-to-navigate curriculum site, www.fishtanklearning.org, teachers can access comprehensive instructional materials for English Language Arts grades K–12 (Fishtank ELA) and for Mathematics grades 3-11 (Fishtank Math). Fishtank Learning offers both an OER curriculum solution and an enhanced curriculum solution called Fishtank Plus for schools seeking expanded resources that guide and support implementation. The hallmarks of the Fishtank curriculum are its rigorous, college-ready focus; strong alignment to standards; support for culturally responsive, anti-racist teaching; and focus on teacher preparation and decision-making.  Fishtank Learning got its start in 2016 as Match Fishtank, a program of Match Education designed to share curriculum developed for use in Match schools. Over the past five years a highly skilled team of former teachers and instructional leaders have worked to develop and continuously refine the instructional materials shared on the website. Since its inception, two million educators around the world have turned to Fishtank Learning for curricular resources, and the website is now a leading source of high-quality instructional materials for teachers everywhere. In November 2020 Fishtank Learning became an independent organization in order to continue to invest in and expand its curriculum offerings.
