Employer Description

Notre Dame Academy Elementary (NDAE) is a transitional kindergarten through 8th grade, co-ed school. In the tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame, we are committed to providing a thoroughly Catholic, 21st century academic education designed to nurture the whole child -- encouraging spiritual and social, academic and artistic growth. We partner with families to best support each student's academic progress and development to prepare them for success throughout their NDAE journey and beyond.

Notre Dame Academy (NDA) is an all-girls, college preparatory school founded on the principle that education is the tool to enable young women to be the change-makers, leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs of the future. At Notre Dame Academy, we believe in “Educating Young Women to Make a Difference” and we do this by creating educational spaces that foster personal growth, promote diversity, and reward innovative thinking. Our graduates are not only prepared for college, but also for the careers of tomorrow.

Diversity Mission Statement

A longstanding treasure of NDA has always been our diverse community that offers a variety of experiences to educate the whole person. We believe a diverse student body, faculty and administrative team offers a wide range of perspectives that fuel creative and innovative thinking, nurture compassion and provide varied skills and backgrounds which enriches the entire community. The dignity and intrinsic worth of every human being anchor our Catholic mission and philosophy of education.

We believe that through respectful listening and a recognition of the presence of God in each person, the walls that separate us dissolve and a welcoming environment that builds unity and community emerges. Our diversity, equity and inclusion work are an extension and application of this key value. We are committed to providing curriculum, programs, opportunities and professional education in response to the needs of our time and our community. By remaining true to our Catholic heritage and faith, and to the charism and principles of the Sisters of Notre Dame, our community stands firmly rooted in our commitment to social justice and in the work that needs to be done.
