Diversity Mission Statement

St. Francis Statement of Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Since 1985, it has been St. Francis School’s mission to provide excellence in achievement without exclusivity and to engage a student body that is integrated racially, ethnically, economically, and religiously. Likewise, we are committed to fighting and educating against racism, discrimination, and bigotry.  As a community of learning, we will not tolerate racism.  Especially as it hinders the emotional and intellectual development of our students and our community as a whole.

St. Francis continues to aspire to be an inclusive environment where all members of the community are nurtured to be their authentic selves. We embrace our differences, whether they be nationality, ethnicity, race, spiritual traditions, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or ability. We believe as a community that we are continually called to strengthen our foundational values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.  Thus, we are committed to building evolving structures and systems which provide a pathway to full participation and where each individual can recognize and grow into their full potential and be celebrated.
